Phuket snorkelling

Going to Phuket, snorkelling is a must to explore the beauty of islands. There are two packages:

1. Speedboat tour:  more expensive, less time-consuming, can visit many beautiful islands which the normal tour don't visit

2. Normal tour by Ship : cheaper, time-consuming, can only snorkelling at the deep sea area, can't go near to those beautiful islands

We took the speedboat tour although it was slightly more expensive, somehow it was really worth for the money. Our first destination was Maya Bay where Leonardo DiCaprio movie "The Beach" was taken here...

We stayed there for one hour, many tourists were sunbathing on the beach..

Then we board the speedboat again to go to another place for snorkelling, here you can see  many beautiful corals, fishes in the deep sea..

After snorkelling for around one hour, we visited many other spectacular islands..

Phuket is really a nice and beautiful island to go, for those beach-lovers....don't miss it!!

Phuket - Fantasea Show

At night, we went to Phuket Fantasea: Inspired by Thailand's rich and exotic heritage, Phuket FantaSea not only showcases the charm and beauty of Thailand, but also enriches ancient Thai traditions with the wonder of cutting edge technology and special effects.

We reached there around 6.30pm, immediately we rushed to the ticket counter, it is around THB1900 per head for show + buffet dinner at Golden Kinnaree International Buffet Restaurant. You may visit http://www.phuket-fantasea.com for more details.

As walking in, we felt like entering an amusement park as we were welcomed by many lovely cartoon decorative and colorful lighting. 

Then we took our dinner buffet at Golden Kinnaree Internation Restaurant. Here, visitors can indulge in a sumptuous feast of Royal Thai dishes and delicacies from popular international cuisine, prepared by some of Thailand's finest chefs. The buffet dinner time from 1800 to 2030.

After dinner, we strolled around. In carnival village, you can buy some gifts or souvenirs.

Then we came to the Palace of the Elephants Theater preparing for the Fantasy of a Kingdom show. The magnificent Palace of the Elephants is a state-of-the-art theater with wonderful acoustics and seating 3,000 persons. Fronted by a glorious reconstruction of a Sukhothai-era stone palace, with intriguing elephant statues, the theater puts on a spell-binding show combining culture and illusion that is almost beyond belief.

Cameras are not allowed to bring inside, the staffs there will help to keep the camera for you. After the show, you can claim back your belongings following the given number. The show starts at 2100 and ends around 2220, visitors are advised to be in the theater 20 minutes earlier.

There is also a Similan Entertainment Center where one can have fun and play games inside with marine creatures that can find in Similan islands.

Then we took some pictures and went back to our hotel...

Phuket - Patong Beach and Bangla road

The time we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed by the enthusiastic staff there. It took around 15 minutes to settle all the formalities, then we brought our luggage to our room...

Wow!! Not bad, the room is quite big and toilet is very clean too but unfortunately i can't remember the hotel's name. There is also an outdoor swimming pool in the hotel.....

Then we headed to Patong beach. To go to Patong beach, there is free shuttle service from hotel to the beach every 15-20 minutes so you can just wait at the hotel lobby for the van's arrival.

Then we ordered some drinks to enjoy the nice sea view and refreshing sea breeze. There were many tourists especially 'ang moh' were sunbathing under such a hot weather.....For me, almost melting... :P

You can also have a Thai massage near the beach..

After that, we strolled around the town area, Bangla road. Besides the shops, there are many bars and disco along the road and during night time, here is crowded with people, the sexy bargirls will try to get guys to have a drink at their bars. You can even pay to the bargirl for one day escort tour or even more special request. The nightlife here is really wonderful for man who are trying to seek fun over here. So girls, remember to pay more attention to your bf when they come here alone!! :P

Besides bar, there are also a lot of shops along Bangla road selling souvenirs, clothes, Thai artwork and providing also tattoo and Thai massage service. Don't forget to try the Thai massage when you are here..

After wandering around until 5pm, we went back to our hotel preparing to go for the Fantasea show at night....

Phuket - Camp Chang Kalim 普吉岛之旅part1

Few days ago, a friend asked me about Phuket travel in Thailand and this made me to recall my free and easy  Phuket trip in year of 2009, hence came out with this post. Luckily i'm still able to download my photos from facebook else it may take some time to drag them out.... :P

Phuket is indeed a nice and beautiful island that one must go especially for those beach lovers. I visited there for three days and honestly i felt the days passed so fast, there were still lots of beautiful things that i had no chance to explore....

On our arrival day, the driver brought us to have a visit at Camp Chang Kalim as we couldn't check-in the hotel very early in the morning.

As we walked down, we could even hear the clear singing of birds, indeed a very pleasant morning. After passing by a well-maintained small garden, we came to the elephant feeding area. This is baby elepahant 'peemai' and his mother, very cute right?

We also bought some bananas to feed them, once they found their favorite food, immediately they would go near to you and in seconds your banana already grabbed by their trunks. So remember to action fast to capture the picture and sometimes have to fight with them also. Haha.....here was the memorable moment..

In Thailand, elephants are always a symbol of power and peace hence they are an important part of the Thai culture. Besides feeding the elephants, you can also experience elephants trekking in the jungle. I couldn't remember how much it cost but was quite expensive, that's why we didn't take the package. 

So we went to the garden to take some pictures..

The garden was not very big but planted with beautiful flowers and was well taken care by the gardeners. There were also few special huts for visitors to rest under the shade.

Then, something interesting caught our attention, that's a signboard... 'If our mahout ask for tip or impolite to you pls suddenly contact here'...haha,...very funny sentence.. :P
