Life without limbs - Nick Vujicic

Recently i found this very meaningful video clip, it was about Nick Vujicic who was born in 1982 in Australia, he came into this world without limbs. Can you imagine how to live without arms and legs? Without arms, you can't hold your love ones, can't drive, can't swim..... Without legs, you can't walk, can't run, can't dance........

When he was young, he constantly questioned why he was different than all the other kids surrounding him; why he was the one born without arms and legs. He wondered what the purpose behind his life was, or if he even had a purpose. Nevertheless, he never gave up, he felt grateful to the god and treasure his life very much. He is now travelling around the world to give motivation talks and share his story with millions of people. (source: lifewithoutlimbs.org)

Pls be thankful, appreciate what you have and treasure your life!!! Where there's a will, there's a way... :)

Hualien whale-watching recreation pier 花莲休闲码头賞鯨团

After few raining days, finally we managed to see the beautiful blue sky besides the warmth of sunshine. "Yeah! Yeah! No more rain, no more umbreallas", this was the first thought that came across my mind. Hehe. :) The nice weather delighted us very much as we planned to have the whale-watching at Hualien Recreational Pier on the day.

Whale watching is a relatively new amusement and special leisure activity in Taiwan, especially to those tourists like us.With three hours sailing, you can get close to the nature, to the whales and dolphins, feels great right? Hehe. :) You can also see different kinds of whales and dolphins here, the boat captain will explain every type of the whales in detail when targets are found....

Although it is not guarantee sightings but hualien whale-watching very seldom disappoints the tourists. In case you do not see any whale or dolphins, it's free for your next visit but you have to keep the ticket with you.
Fee for adult is NTD1200 while child is NTD850. It is surely expensive if you go by yourself so pls follow a guide if possible which will be much much cheaper than the price.

Apart from this, remember to have a taste of the fresh seafood there, the seafood restaurants offer a variety of seafood dishes for the visitors. You can choose the fishes, crabs, prawns and so on by yourself and order the ways of cooking as well.
Yummy! Yummy! They were really delicious but a bit expensive to me (totally we had spend NTD2200 for the lunch) so pls choose the food wisely and of course don't forget to see the price before you order.....

Ta Shee Blooming Oasis 大溪花海农场

If you are going to Taiwan, remember to pay a visit to Ta Shee Blooming Oasis (大溪花海农场) to enjoy the colorful blooms of seasonal flowers which you can't find in malaysia and even singapore. I love the the flowers there very very much, very lovely and colourful :) .....but no much nice photos were taken as it rained cats and dogs on the day. :(

Hehe... the flowers there very beautiful right? That's why many Taiwan dramas choose to take the scene over there like 「綠光森林」、「我的秘密花園2」、「天國的嫁衣」、「戀香」、「海豚愛上貓」、「轉角遇到愛」and so on.

There is also an animal park over there where you can see some animals like dutch cows, dogs, rabbits, bees and so on. Since it was raining on the day, all the animals hid inside their shelters so only few picture were taken there.... :(

After that, we headed to Taoyuan County Indigenous Culture Center (桃园原住民文化会馆) which is just nearby to the Ta Shee Blooming Oasis....Here you can know more about the Taiwan's aborigine's culture and watch their dancing.....feels not bad right...hehe...

Jiufen 九份

Jiufen is an old gold and copper mining town which is is located within the hills in northeast of Taiwan. To me, it is special and beautiful......want to know how it looks like and what to see over there, let's follow me.... :)

First of all, we went to Gold Ecological Park (黃金博物園區) where there are Gold Museum and Crown Prince's Chalet inside. It preserves some of the Japanese era's buildings and contains a museum which tells the story of gold mining in the area.
