Tamsui fisherman's wharf 淡水渔人码头

Have you ever heard about fisherman's wharf in Tamsui, Taipei? Well, i guess many of you would like to know how it looks like right? hehe....come with me then...... :)

Fisherman's wharf is actually a very hot tourism spot which is well-known for its Lover Bridge, beautiful sunset and also the fresh seafood. You can go there by bus, ferry or even bike which you can rent from the shops on the main road north of Danshui MRT Station. Well, we choose to go there by ferry (NTD100) to have a taste of strong sea breeze while enjoying the beautiful sea view....

Finally we reached Tamsui after 15 minutes on the ferry, the first sight that attracted me was definitely the Lover Bridge. We reached there around 7pm+ so had missed the chance of enjoying the beautiful sunset.
Therefore for those who would like to see the beautiful sunset at Danshui, pls go there to book your seat earlier else you will miss the beautiful moment like me. :(

Lover Bridge of Tamsui is a white-colored Cable-stayed bridge, derived its name since it was started on February 14, 2003, Valentine's Day. The total length is approximately 196 meters and the walk across takes approximately 3 minutes (Source from wikipedia). Here is really a romantic place for lovers, you can see a lot of young couples stroll along the bridge....

After taking our dinner at one of the restaurants, we strolled around the wharf and took some photos before we left. Of course, the beautiful scene over there was already marked in our memory. :)
